This weekend we picked up our very own Fraki, fully called 'Fraki Anybody' (because we love Terry Pratchett') and so far he is everything we could have hoped. He's still settling in, but he is freindly and fierce as I ever expected Brandr's boon companion to be. Getting him used to the house has been a lot of work so far but so rewarding.

Big News Everyone! Next week I get to pick up my very own Fraki! A boy-pup Norwegian Elkhound (Norsk Elghund for those playing along at home.) He of course won't be as supernaturally big as Fraki, but nor is he going to be retrieved from the all-father's own hall, so... win some lose some, I suppose.
We are looking forward to the new addition to my family, and I'm in mind to right a Manegard story from the doggo's point of view toward the end of summer.
